Gabigol Pushing for Santos Return

Brazilian striker Gabriel Barbosa has endured torrid time in Europe ever since his 2016 move to Inter Milan and is reportedly willing to go back to his former club Santos.

The forward universally referred to as Gabigol has made only nine Serie A appearances and scored one goal for Inter Milan before he was loaned out to Benfica hoping to revive his career.

His time in Portugal turned sour as well with Gabigol failing to make an impression in first team. The Brazilian was also caught on camera in what appeared to be a bust up with teammate Jardel night before Benfica’s Champions League match against Basel.

Gabigol is struggling to adapt to European football and, according to reports coming from Brazil, is pushing for a return to Santos where he bagged 24 goals in 83 appearances.
